WILLIAMS, Pastor Claude 

67, of St. Petersburg, transitioned to his heavenly home Oct. 29, 2017, at St. Anthony's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the Senior Pastor of Victory Christian Center Church, St. Petersburg, FL., and was employed by the City of St. Petersburg for over 30 years, most recently as an Economic Development Coordinator. He was a devoted father, brother,

grandfather, and a lifetime resident of the city. He was a graduate of St. Petersburg High School 1968 and the University of South Florida 1977. He received an honorable discharge from the USAF. He was predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Cecelia Fletcher Williams; his parents, and two brothers. He leaves to cherish his memories his son, John; daughters, Shanel Williams, the Honorable Patrice W. Moore (Jimmy), Dr. Marilyn W. Fudge, and Deri W. Greer (Michael); brother, Irving Whitehead (Barbara); six grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation Friday, 6-8 pm with Wake Service (Reflections) at 7 pm at Victory Christian Center Church, 3012 18th Ave. So.; Home Going Celebration, Saturday, 11 am, at First Baptist Church of St. Petersburg, 1900 Gandy Blvd, st. Petersburg, FL.
